Avon Fire Brigade

“What matters to us is what works, and for Avon Fire Brigade Values-Centred Leadership is definitely working. We started with our senior management team and are now involving staff from every level and area of the organisation. I can honestly say that I see positive examples of how VCL is helping us every day. The effect of VCL on some of our people has been nothing short of remarkable.”

Discovery Project

“The Discovery initiative in the Paulsgrove cluster of schools in Portsmouth is working on the transformation of a culture. It aims to remove the negativity and can’t do attitude that pervades, and instil the ingredients of Emotional Intelligence so that individuals can tap into their true potential and achieve their dreams.

The WoW Factor has been an integral part of that voyage. Their challenging training has offered staff the opportunity to shed their self limiting beliefs about themselves, and blossom. I have seen many people change in the most remarkable way, and as a result those around them, especially the children, have reaped the benefit.”

London Fire Brigade

"We brought Values Centred Leadership into the Brigade 4 years ago as an experiment. At that time we were using it to prepare a group of middle managers for a significant organisational change that was approaching. From that moment on the training gained its own momentum. When we tried to vary our provision with other Leadership programmes, managers wanted to know why they were being given 'second class' training.

We have never had to advertise this training since those first 2 courses. We run approximately 10 courses per year - each for 16 participants and consistently have a waiting list.

I believe that is because the desire of the individual manager, within this service for change, is enormous. They have been waiting for a vehicle which helps them contribute to and be a part of that change. They want to move away from a culture focussed upon task and outcome to one focussed upon people and community. Together they are spearheading that change. LFB is becoming an increasingly diverse, community focussed organisation. VCL has been a major contributor to that change."

South West Trains

"When you enter a partnership with The WoW Factor, then be prepared to be challenged as a business and as individuals. They create effective space and atmosphere for real reflection on your own performance and the things which inhibit better results. They challenge your values and your behaviours very positively. They may infuriate you on occasion but the overwhelming response from our participants, including myself, has been real appreciation of the experience, a changed response to leadership in the workplace and a recognition that The WoW Factor passionately believe in what they do"
