Heather Allen is a leader and mentor with a reputation in the human potential movement as an inspiring speaker. She has in-depth experience in training, communication, group dynamics and visionary leadership within the corporate sector and has worked in the UK, the USA and the Far East.

In 1998 she co-founded Devas and The WoW Factor, to apply Emotional Intelligence, Values-Centred Leadership and individual development to the cultural transformation of organisations.

A unique dimension of her expertise comes from her broad experience of human frailties at every level. She began her career as a nurse in London’s East End, working to re-integrate mental health patients into the community. She also has years of voluntary experience, notably with London Lighthouse.

Ben Gylsen has a real passion for human potential, sparked by his own introduction to personal transformation work in 1983. This led him to explore his interests in healing, bodywork and transformation.

In 1991 he qualified as an Osteopath and worked in various multi-disciplinary and traditional clinics both in Australia and the UK. Over this time, he developed a fascinating insight into the mind-body connection and the effects of communication on the human body.

He has studied widely in the fields of communication, self-improvement, personal development and complementary therapies. More recently, he left the clinical environment to pursue his own successful marketing business, where he put his learning and training skills into practice.

Ben also created a Meditation CD and wrote The MetaCoach Programme with Heather Allen, and is currently writing his first book. He now works full-time as a consultant with The WoW Factor.

Babs Howe qualified as a lawyer in civil litigation in the corporate sector and PhD research in jurisprudence. She has also been a non-executive partner of a strategy consultancy since the eighties.

She has worked extensively as a volunteer for the National Childbirth Trust and as an editor for one of their magazines. She has also worked for the Observer, developing a successful publication.

Babs founded 'Walking to Clarity' - an exercise for the mind, body and spirit. She walks with cleints in nature, enabling them to talk about their emotional and life issues. With her logical and practical approach, she gives clarity, empathy and understanding. She has worked in the UK, France and Australia.

Her creative energy is expressed through her practical studies of the decorative arts, as well as attending a creative wrirting course. Babs is a mother, with one daughter.

Carlos Dean is a professional group facilitator who has used his skills in a number of different public service arenas including social services; the fire service; the health service and schools.

He graduated with a BA Honours degree in Social Sciences in 1986 and spent the next 14 years studying personal development and researching a number of related fields including eastern philosophy, complimentary medicine, the healing arts and popular music culture.

In March 2001 he became a freelance consultant offering a unique set of services to facilitate positive change within groups and organizations. His work is a combination of spontaneous singing performance and passionate drumming creating events that are inspiring and unforgettable.

Lisa Gylsen began her career with a major US Software company. She spent 11 years in the IT industry, where she held positions in training, sales and management; as well as responsibilities for opening regional offices across the UK & Europe.

She left the corporate world to start up her own successful marketing business, where she coaches entrepreneurs on leadership, communication and business development.

Lisa is committed to developing the potential of people and is passionate about making a difference to others. She participates in ongoing personal development and thrives in an atmosphere of change. As well as business consultancy, she now looks after Finance and Operations for The WoW Factor.

Rosie Innes graduated from Edinburgh College of Art and her skills took her to the Caribbean and Pacific Islands, where she spent several years studying the island cultures. On returning to the UK, she attained a postgraduate teaching qualification and taught within the state system.

She spent many years investigating new perspectives on life choices and human relationships, including four years at the Findhorn Foundation and as a partner at the Grimstone Manor International Conference Centre. Rosie’s fascination with human awareness gradually led her to train in a number of healing therapies, which formed the basis of a successful practice in Devon.

As well as fifteen years of yoga teaching & training and practicing the Chinese art of Qi Gong, she has run workshops on relaxation and stress relief. Alongside her work with The WoW Factor, she has developed new technologies for relieving environmental stress and now provides corporate consulting in this area.

Caroline Reynolds is an author and international leader of intensive personal development seminars. She is highly skilled in both group dynamics and as an individual coach, helping people develop their emotional intelligence and access their authentic power.

She has a unique ability to lead people into deep relaxation in order to understand the nature of mind and ascertain core beliefs and values. As well as authoring her own book, created from years of self-study and practice, she has created numerous meditation CD’s that teach people effective relaxation techniques.

Caroline is an expert in voice resonance which she uses to enhance communication skills. She brings all of these qualities to her consultancy role within The WoW Factor.
